Ambassador Nga made the statement on October 12 at a debate in New York of UN’s Economic and Financial Committee.

She urged the UN to continue working with ASEAN to implement the joint declaration on comprehensive cooperation.

Nga noted that cooperation has become more important than ever for the realization of Sustainable Development Goals at the regional level because ASEAN members are setting up the ASEAN Community and starting to implement the Development Agenda 2030 on sustainable development.

On behalf of ASEAN, Madam Nga called on the UN and its members to continue to support South-South cooperation and trilateral cooperation.
