Vietnam commits to transparent, safe migration environment
(VOVWORLD) - Priorities for implementing safe, orderly, and regular migration (GCM) topped the agenda of Friday’s conference in Ho Chi Minh city.

Jointly held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), the event aimed to improve Vietnam’s management of international migration issues and policy making.
Deputy Foreign Minister To Anh Dung said Vietnam approved the GCM agreement in December 2018. The Prime Minister signed its implementation plan in March this year, which has demonstrated Vietnam’s strong commitment and responsibilities in ensuring a migration environment transparent and safe for sustainable development.
