Vietnam condemns terrorist attacks on Surabaya churches
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam strongly condemns the terrorist attacks in Indonesia’s Surabaya City, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang said Monday.
Replying to reporters’ questions about the attacks, Hang said Vietnam offers its deepest condolences to the Indonesian government and the bereaved, adding that Vietnam will support the Indonesian government in fighting terrorism.
President Tran Dai Quang and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent messages of condolence to Indonesian President Joko Widodo on Monday. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh also sent a message of condolence to Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi.
