(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam's total count of COVID-19 infections on Tuesday hit 1,029 after 504 cases were announced in the evening.
500 of the latest cases were domestically transmitted and were recorded in HCM city (271), Dong Thap (99), Binh Duong (92), Phu Yen (16), Long An (8 ), Nghe An (3), Bac Giang (2), Bac Ninh (2), Hanoi (2), Tra Vinh (2), Lang Son (1), Hung Yen (1), and An Giang (1).
462 of the cases were detected in quarantine facilities or locked down areas.
Vietnam has so far reported 22,064 COVID-19 infections with 94 fatilities.
