(VOVworld) - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh has concluded his visit to Cuba to seek expanded bilateral cooperation in economics, trade, and investment. Anh told Cuban Deputy Minister of Industry Eloy Alvarez that the memorandum of understanding on industrial cooperation signed by the two sides during Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung’s Cuba visit earlier this year is an important precondition for their partnership. Alvarez promised that Cuba will provide more favorable conditions so that industrial affiliation will continue to produce positive outcomes.

Meeting with officials of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment, Anh urged Cuba to start negotiating a tax incentive agreement and update the current trade cooperation agreement and other forms of economic cooperation.
