Vietnam, Czech Republic promote bilateral cooperation

(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnamese and Czech Deputy Ministers of Industry and Trade joined the sixth meeting of their Inter-Governmental Committee in Hanoi on Wednesday.

Czech Deputy Minister Vladimir Bartl and his Vietnamese counterpart Do Thang Hai reviewed recent developments in bilateral trade and investment. In January-February 2018, the two countries’ trade reached nearly 50 million USD, up more than 31 percent from the same period in 2017. Vietnam’s exports mostly consisted of clothing, aquatic products, industrial machines, spare parts, and electricity devices. The Czech delegation said that their businesses want to boost cooperation with Vietnam in mechanical engineering, energy, cement and construction materials.
