The culture event will celebrate the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Brazil and the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Saudi Arabia.

Held annually since 2010 by the Department of Cultural Diplomacy and UNESCO at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ‘Vietnam Days Abroad’ initiative aims to promote the image of the country, its people and culture to international friends.

The “Vietnam Days in Brazil” will take place in Rio de Janeiro from Friday to Sunday, just ahead of the G20 Summit. It will feature captivating performances, showcasing the finest aspects of Vietnamese culture, including traditional lion and dragon dances and water puppetry performances.

The “Vietnam Days in Saudi Arabia” is scheduled to be held in Riyadh in mid December, presenting a rich Vietnamese cultural space to the local public, offering unique experiences such as traditional To He figurine crafting, Dong Ho folk painting printing, and creating intricate lacquer art pieces.
