Vietnam deploys swift response to super typhoon Ragasa
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has urged ministries and local authorities to detail response scenarios and establish standardized coordination procedures to quickly mobilize on-site forces and equipment against super typhoon Ragasa.

Chairing a meeting on response measures on Tuesday, he tasked the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of National Defense, and relevant agencies with monitoring fishing vessels and guiding fishermen out of danger zones to safe shelters.
Localities were asked to help residents reinforce aquaculture areas to minimize damage.
The Deputy Prime Minister also warned of possible tropical depressions or new storms forming in the wake of Ragasa, which is forecast to make landfall in Vietnam on Thursday.
