(VOVworld)- Vietnam has reviewed its 15 years of implementing a Party resolution on the building of an advanced Vietnamese culture enriched with national identities. Speaking at the meeting in Hanoi on Thursday, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said the resolution reflects the Party’s strategic and revolutionary vision to fully tap cultural potential. However, he pointed out challenges facing cultural development: “The political system and people’s awareness on the importance of cultural development in line with the resolution is still limited while legal documents in the area are not up to dynamic market economy. We have not seen many cultural works reflecting major achievement in national construction and defense. Limitations have been detected in the preservation of heritages and organization of cultural events. This poses challenges in international integration and cultural development.”
