(VOVworld) – Vietnam hopes to boost cultural and educational ties with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and will create favorable conditions for Korean students to study in Vietnam. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan stated this yesterday while receiving professor Song Ja Rip, President of Kim Il Sung University and Minister of Higher Education for DPRK. According to Deputy PM Nhan, Vietnam will be a link between Pyongyang and other ASEAN members. Professor Song expressed his hope that the two countries’ educational ties will be strengthened to fully tap each one’s potential and create the momentum for  Vietnam- DPRK cooperation to flourish.
