The Vietnamese official hailed the EP for helping push the ratification of the EU-Vietnam Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation (PCA) and the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).
He noted that Vietnam has ratified five out of the eight basic conventions of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and is studying the remaining ones involving the freedom of association and protection of the right to organise; the right to organise and bargain collectively; and abolition of forced labour, for ratification at proper time.
