Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference boost ties

(VOVworld)Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee President Nguyen Thien Nhan said the Vietnamese Party and State, and the VFF treasure cooperation and friendship with their Chinese counterparts, adding that along with economic ties, the two countries should step up people-to-people exchanges and cooperation in other fields.

 Mr Nhan spoke at a meeting with the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Vice Chairman Wan Gang, on Sunday in Hanoi. Mr Nhan urged more exchanges between residents of border localities, and said he hopes the Chinese will share their experience in fighting corruption and organizing movements to promote creativity and a startup spirit among young people. 

Vice Chairman Wan Gang expressed his own hope that the two sides will boost exchanges between scientists and cooperate in fostering creativity and start-ups. 
Vice President and General Secretary of the VFF Tran Thanh Man held talks with Mr Wan Gang in which the two discussed friendship exchanges between local VFF chapters and China.  They stressed the need to work closer and further promote the role played by the two organizations in enhancing connectivity in economy, culture, education, science and technology between Vietnam and China.
