(VOV) - The General Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Fronts (VFF) Central Committee, Vu Trong Kim, has applauded a delegation of Cambodia’s leading Buddhists for visiting Vietnam, saying its is a practical way of promoting good neighborliness, traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

While receiving Cambodia’s Supreme Buddhist Patriarch, the Venerable Tepvong in Hanoi today/ on Friday, Kim said that the visit is part of many friendship exchanges currently taking place to celebrate Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Year and the 45^th anniversary of diplomatic ties. He said the VFF has worked with the National Council for the Solidarity Front for the Development of Cambodia’s Motherland on many cooperation programmes to strengthen the existing good relations between both countries.
