The Minister of National Defence General Phung Quang Thanh told the visiting DPRK People’s Armed Forces Minister, General Pak Yong Sik, in Hanoi on Friday, that his country always treasured its time-honoured relations with the DPRK.
He said the DPRK delegation’s visit would contribute to consolidating and promoting the traditional friendship between the two Parties, States, armies and people. The ministers confirmed their desire to continually reinforce the traditional friendship between the two countries, bringing benefits to their people and contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region.
They agreed to continue maintaining their traditional ties through increasing the exchange of delegations and language students, as well as promoting cooperation in education-training, museum, librarianship, culture and sport.
