Vietnam hopes to collect nearly 1.5 million blood units in 2023
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam hopes to collect 1.47 million units of blood from 1.5% of the population next year. This target was set at a conference to review blood donations this year and targets for next year.

According to the National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation, localities need to improve public awareness about benefits of blood donation and incentives for blood donors. This year, 1.43 million blood units were collecting, surpassing the set target and met the needs of medical treatments.
