Vietnam, India’s Karnataka seek to step up hi-tech cooperation

Highlighting the sound traditional friendship between the two countries and the mutual support in COVID-19 fight, Thawar Chand Gehlot said that he believes the India-Vietnam relationship will continue to thrive in the future.

Chairman Hue said that in his second visit to Karnataka state, he is impressed by the rapid growth of the state and particularly Bengaluru city, which is considered a “Silicon Valley” of India. Karnataka state has emerged as an economic hub which has contributed significantly to India’s economic development. Mr. Hue said he expects Karnataka state will expand its cooperation with Vietnamese localities and businesses in high-tech, innovation, digitalization, ICT, and the semi-conductor industry.
