Vietnam, Ireland sign multiple cooperation agreements

Director of Vietnam National University-Hanoi Professor, Dr. Le Quan and Deputy Director in charge of Global Affairs of University College Dublin, Ireland, Dolores O’Riordan exchanged the Framework Cooperation Agreement in training, scientific research, and exchange of staff, lecturers and students.

Chairman of FPT Corporation Truong Gia Binh and Professor Cathal Gurrin, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Computer Science, Director of the ADAPT Research Center, Dublin City University, exchanged the Minutes of cooperation discussion on high-tech human resources development, including AI human resources.

Dublin City University will send lecturers to train AI for students at FPT University Da Nang, organize seminars with young lecturers of FPT University, and provide scholarships for doctoral training in AI for FPT University’s lecturers and short-term internship courses for students majoring in AI. 

FPT Corporation General Director Nguyen Van Khoa and CEO of Kyndryl Ireland Chris Davis handed over the Framework Agreement between FPT Corporation and Kyndryl Technology Company on digital transformation and AI application.

Vice Chairman of Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company Nguyen Thanh Hung and Managing Director and Head of Asia-Pacific of Castlelake Aviation Company Sankalp Garg handed over the Framework Agreement on aircraft leasing. Castlelake will provide finance for 4 new A321neo aircraft in the current aircraft order of Vietjet and Airbus. These aircraft will be delivered this year.
