Vietnam, Israel celebrate 30 years of diplomatic ties

(VOVWORLD) - A ceremony took place in Tel Aviv on Sunday to mark 30 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Israel and the 78th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day.

Addressing the event, held in the framework of an official visit of Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, Vietnamese Ambassador to Israel Ly Duc Trung stressed that the friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Israel has developed steadily in all fields since the establishment of diplomatic ties on July 12, 1993.

Leaders of the two countries have exchanged visits and held working sessions to build frameworks to facilitate the development of bilateral relations in the fields of politics, economy, trade, investment, smart agriculture, and high technology.

Deputy PM Quang and his entourage also enjoyed cultural performances by Vietnamese and Israeli artists, attended exhibitions showcasing Vietnam’s tourism and trade promotion products, and visited a VinFast electric vehicle display.
