The two men noted with satisfaction the effective recent cooperation between the two ministries in fighting crime and agreed on new measures to strengthen this cooperation. Vietnam and Italy will soon sign agreements on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, extradition of criminals and prisoners, protection of secret information, and other memoranda of understanding in order to fulfill their commitments.
