Vietnam – Japan develop human resource seminar

 (VOVworld)-A seminar on developing human resources chaired by the Vietnamese Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs was held in Tokyo, Japan this week in the framework of the 2012 Viet Nam-Japan Program. Attending the seminar were leaders of the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, and the Japanese Job Association and representatives of six colleges in Vietnam. The seminar examined demand, potential and methods of cooperation between Vietnam and Japan in the job training and human resources fields. Tran Ngoc An, director of the Foundation of Diplomatic Economics of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: “This seminar focuses on vocational training and human resources development. We have talked about Vietnam’s desire to work with Japan due to the high-quality job training offered by Japan. The experiences learnt from Japan’s job training and human resources development will benefit both sides.”

 The number of Vietnamese workers in Japan reached 30.000 over the past five years and there are now about 4.000 Vietnamese students there.
