The Deputy PM said the Vietnam-Japan extensive strategic partnership is developing fruitfully on the basis of greater political trust, and the two countries have become close partners in economics, trade, and investment.
Deputy PM Dung said he hopes Japanese investors will expand their investment and cooperate with local enterprises in farm machinery, agro-fishery processing, electronics, shipbuilding, auto parts, environmental technology, infrastructure, energy, support industry, and high-tech agriculture.

Mr Onoi said he is impressed by Vietnam’s recent economic development and pledged to make a greater effort to contribute to Vietnam’s development through people-to-people diplomacy. The Council will organize more trips for Japanese businessmen to Vietnam to seek investment opportunities, support Vietnamese investors in Japan, and conduct people-to-people exchanges.
