(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received Japan Special Ambassador Ryotaro Sugi, who is on a working visit to Vietnam.

PM Phuc said the Vietnamese government and people appreciate the Ambassador’s contributions to enhancing relations between Vietnam and Japan over the past 30 years in culture, arts, people-to-people exchanges, and humanitarian activities. He said he hopes the Ambassador will suggest more initiatives to celebrate the 45^th anniversary of Vietnam – Japan diplomatic ties in 2018. Ambassador Sugi pledged his efforts to boost relations between the two countries.
