Vietnam joins tourism fair in India

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam’s representatives are joining other 1,800 exhibitors in the 31st South Asian Travel and Tourism Exchange (SATTE 2024) in Greater Noida, India, which has attracted more than 48,000 visitors.

Da Nang city’s Tourism Department, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines, and the Vietnam Travel and Marketing Transports Joint Stock Company (Vietravel) have set up booths to promote Vietnam tourism.

Vietnamese Ambassador to India Nguyen Thanh Hai cut the ribbon to open Vietnamese booths at the fair.

Participating for the second time, Da Nang city conducted traditional Ao Dai (long dress) show, Vietnamese coffee experience program, lucky draw, and photo-shoot to receive souvenirs.

Da Nang connected with airlines to strengthen partnerships and promote direct flights to or from India. It held meetings with travel companies and event organizers to launch wedding tourism to Da Nang in 2024.
