Thuy said the exhibit featuring 27 clay paintings of lotus, sesame buds, roses, orchids, daisies, cherry, and flowering canola lets audiences enjoy a space of colorful flowers recreating typical charming scenery of Korea and Vietnam.

Thuy said that she “finds Vietnam and South Korea share many similarities in culture and natural scenery which are very beautiful. I want to express the beauty of both countries’ landscapes through flowers. Two thirds of the paintings are about Vietnam and Korea and the rest are still-life paintings.”

Clay painting is a popular art form in Vietnam and Korea.
