(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung on Monday received a delegation of the Laotian National Assembly’s Committee for Ethnic Affairs, led by Chairman Duongdi Uthachac.

Speaking at the reception, Mr. Hung said that the visit reinforces the traditional friendship and solidarity between the two nations. He confirmed that he would do his utmost to enhance the bilateral relations of the two legislative bodies and Vietnam – Lao special spirit of unity. Chairman Duong-di U-tha-chac stressed that the Laotian Party, State, National Assembly, and people always put great effort into deepening the Vietnam – Lao friendly relationship and cooperating with the Vietnamese National Assembly’s Ethnic Council. The same day, K’sor Phuoc, Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly’s Ethnic Council worked with the Lao delegation and agreed to increase the exchange of information and measures to boost bilateral relations.
