Vietnam makes its mark at WEF during Prime Minister's trip to China

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has concluded his trip to attend the 15th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Dalian and a working visit to China.

The PM's keynote address resonated with an audience of 1,700 attendees from 80 countries. He delivered a clear, profound message about Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements, policies, vision, and strategic orientation for national development.

The Prime Minister also talked to partners and businesses, demonstrating Vietnam's spirit of renewal and strong determination to transform its growth model and create a favorable environment for investors.

His remarks were applauded by the business community, who expressed their interest in investing and doing business in Vietnam, especially in new industries.

Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son said that during his trip to China, Prime Minister Chinh met with senior Chinese leaders and received the leaders of some big Chinese corporations.

These meetings were aimed at consolidating and enhancing political trust, improving bilateral relations, and affirming the high regard of the Party and State for bilateral relations and their position in the overall foreign policy of each country.

The two sides discussed in depth and agreed on specific directions and measures to boost cooperation in the near future. They agreed to continuously strengthen the solid social foundation for the development of bilateral ties. The leaders of the two countries agreed to properly handle disagreements and work together to preserve a peaceful and stable environment.
