Chinese media spotlights Vietnamese PM’s working trip to China

(VOVWORLD) - Chinese media outlets such as the People's Daily, the Xinhua News Agency, and the China Central Television are highlighting the activities of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Vietnamese delegation during their working visit to China from June 24-27 to attend the 15th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Dalian.

During the visit, on June 26, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping and Wang Huning, Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee. 

Chinese media quoted General Secretary and Chinese President Xi Jinping, affirming that China is ready to cooperate with Vietnam to strengthen strategic orientation, focusing on persisting in solidarity and friendship, supporting each other, deepening win-win cooperation, joining hands towards modernization, and contributing to peace, stability, development, and prosperity in the world. 

Xi affirmed that China is willing to support its enterprises in increasing investment in Vietnam, and expressed his hope that Vietnam will create favorable business condition and environment for Chinese investors.
