(VOVworld) – Chairman of Ho Chi Minh city’s People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan received visiting Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj on Sunday.

Quang said he believed that the visit would foster relations between the two countries and between Ho Chi Minh city and Mongolian localities. He added that Ho Chi Minh city will help to implement the agreements reached between the two countries’ leaders and facilitate favorable conditions for Mongolian businesses. Quan also expressed his hope that President Elbegdorj will create the conditions for Ho Chi Minh city and Ulan Bator capital to establish a sisterhood in the future. President Elbegdorj hailed the idea of establishing a sisterhood between the two cities and said that Mongolia remains open to Vietnamese and Ho Chi Minh city leaders and businesses.

Earlier, President Elbegdorj attended and delivered a speech at the Vietnam-Mongolia Business Forum in Ho Chi Minh city and visited Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
