Vietnamese can visit 55 countries with only e-visa, border gate visa, or no visa at all. Japan has the most powerful passport with visa-free access to 193 countries. South Korea and Singapore were placed second on the ranking, with visa-free access to 192 countries.

The rest of the top 10 included Germany and Spain (190), Finland, Italy, Luxembourg (189), Austria, Denmark, Netherlands, Sweden (188), France, Ireland, Portugal, the UK (187), Belgium, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, the US, Czech Republic (186), Australia, Canada, Greece, Malta (185), Hungary, Poland (184), Lithuania, Slovakia (183).

Henley Passport Index is conducted by London-based Henley & Partners based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Authority (IATA). Updated quarterly, the index includes 199 different passports and 227 different travel destinations.
