(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam National Brand Week began on Monday to promote a national image and brand through products, boost foreign trade, and enhance national competitiveness and international brand value.

The event is in response to Vietnam Brand Day, April 20.
The week will be officially launched on Wednesday by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in coordination with the People's Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities, agencies, organizations, and businesses.
The opening ceremony of Vietnam National Brand Week and the International Forum on Vietnam’s National Brands will take place on Wednesday in Hanoi in both face-to-face and online formats.
Vietnam's national brand value increased 21.6% last year compared to 2020, from 319 billion USD to 388 billion USD.
