Vietnam: no new COVID-19 community transmission in 90 days

(VOVWORLD) - As of Wednesday, Vietnam has had no new COVID-19 cases in 90 days, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

352 of 373 cases in Vietnam have fully recovered, and no deaths have been reported. The remaining patients are in stable condition.

According to worldometers.info, there have been 13.4 million COVID-19 infections in the world and 580,000 deaths. The most-affected country is the US, followed by Brazil.

Iran is the most-affected country in the Middle East. The disease is spreading in Iraq, Turkey, Kuwait, Algeria, Qatar, Morocco, and Lebanon.
