(VOVworld) – Spokesman for the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry told a press conference on Monday about Vietnam’s reaction to Taiwan’s (China) illegal construction on Ba Binh island in Vietnam’s Truong Sa archipelago.

He said Vietnam has sufficient legal and historical evidence to confirm its undisputable sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. All foreign activities in the region without Vietnam’s agreement were illegal and invalid.
He said Vietnam resolutely opposes Taiwan’s illegal construction on Ba Binh island and requested Taiwan to immediately stop its wrongful actions and not to repeat them.
