Vietnam participates at the Oslo Summit on Education and Development

(VOVworld) - More than 400 foreign delegates have gathered in the Oslo Summit on Education and Development to discuss more funding for developmental education.

Minister of Education and Training Pham Vu Luan shared Vietnam’s experience in education for social development and the ODA funding serving as a catalyst to boost Vietnamese educational quality.
He hailed progress in educational universalization, education for handicapped children and those in remote and mountainous areas. Delegates endorsed the Oslo Declaration on donation orientation for development until 2030 and UN approval of educational inclusion in the Sustainable Development Goals after 2015.
