On display are 60 photos taken by Yusef Mazhar, member of the Public Diplomacy Council of Egypt during a trip to Vietnam in late 2015. The exhibit is called “Following the steps of Uncle Ho in Egypt”.
Port Said was the first stop in President HCM’s journey to find a path to independence for Vietnam. Addressing the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt Do Hoang Long said the embassy will promote cultural diplomacy activities in Egypt, including presenting books to the Alexandria library and opening a cultural space called “Window into Vietnam” next month on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese reunification (April 30).
