At a Wednesday reception for Mark Field, Minister of State at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office of the UK, who is on a working visit to Vietnam, Mr. Lam asked the UK to facilitate the granting of visas for Vietnamese citizens who work in the UK. Mr. Lam said Vietnam will work to effectively carry out the Memorandum of Understanding on anti-human trafficking cooperation signed between the two governments in November 2018, and he hopes the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office will create favorable conditions for British law enforcement agencies and the Vietnamese Ministries of Public Security and Foreign Affairs to realize the Memorandum’s goals.
