President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Mongolian President Ukhnaagin Khurelsukh agreed to nurture their friendship, promote the Inter-government Committee, strengthen cooperation between ministries and sectors, and create a favorable environment for stronger bilateral cooperation.

At a meeting with Swiss President Guy Parmelin, President Phuc said Vietnam hoped to receive more ODA assistance from Switzerland through development projects.

President Phuc and President of the European Council Charles Michel agreed to strengthen multifaceted cooperation, increase delegation exchanges at all levels and promote current dialogues to boost ties. President Phuc asked the EU to urge member countries to approve the EVIPA.
The leaders discussed the situation in the region and the world and agreed on the importance of building a multilateral system with the UN playing the central role, abiding by international law, and ensuring safety, security and freedom of navigation and aviation at sea including the East Sea.
