(VOVworld) – This year’s Vietnam Poetry Day will open at the Temple of Literature in Hanoi next Tuesday. The Vietnam Writers' Association announced at a press conference on Friday that under the theme "the Country and Spring Sail", the event will include poets and writers from 26 clubs nationwide.

The highlight of this year’s event will be the return of a poetry program for children.

Writer Le Phuong Lien from the department for children’s literature of the Vietnam Writers' Association says: “we don’t consider the poetry program for children a model but as the launch of a movement to instill a love of poetry at school and among children. Such activities will help children love poetry and music more, making their souls healthier in these modern times.”
