Vietnam prepares for 53rd ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting
(VOVWORLD) - As ASEAN Chair 2020, Vietnam is finalizing preparations for the 53rdASEAN Foreign Ministers Meeting and related meetings to be scheduled for the first half of September.

Speaking at a regular press briefing in Hanoi, Vietnam Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang said that details of the meeting will be updated in the coming time. The AMM-53 and related meetings are part of activities to be held during Vietnam’s ASEAN Chairmanship Year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other complications around the world, Vietnam will consult other ASEAN members and ASEAN partners to make prompt preparation and organization of ASEAN's meetings and activities.
