Vietnam prepares to deploy Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 6 to South Sudan
(VOVWORLD) - 63 staff members of Vietnam’s Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 6 will depart from Hanoi on Tuesday to replace Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 5 in the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).

Since April, they have been trained by the Military Medical Academy in health care, politics, military skills, logistics and technical support, and English language proficiency.
The Academy transferred the management of Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 6 to the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations on Wednesday. Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 5 is scheduled to return home in two phases, on September 28 and October 10.
To date, Vietnam has successfully deployed five rotations of Level-2 Field Hospitals to UN peacekeeping operations in South Sudan
