Twenty presentations at the event highlighted the necessity and urgency to apply digital technology to tourism management and tourism vocational training and especially business management.

Le Anh Tuan, Director of the Training Department of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that in order to turn tourism into a key economic spearhead in line with the Politburo Resolution 08, human resources need to be trained and developed on a par with the sector’s development.

“The workshop analyzed the current situation and set out orientations for solutions to promote digital transformation in vocational tourism training,” said Tuan, adding, “Participants also made recommendations for state management agencies to change, adjust, and supplement mechanisms and policies in the most appropriate way.”
