Experts have praised the potential of the local medical tourism industry at a webinar seeking ways to develop the sector on Wednesday.
During the event, delegates said that tourists will take long trips not only for sightseeing but also to access medical care to improve their health.
They agreed that Vietnam should exploit its rich system of medicinal plants and well-known traditional medicine to develop healthcare tourism.
