During the discussion, participants heard worries and concerns from students in the context of the complicated pandemic.

Ambassador Ngoc affirmed the embassy and other representative offices are giving a special priority to citizen protection work, including support to students.

The embassy has asked local authorities to take measures to protect the legitimate rights and interests of Vietnamese in the US.

The Embassy and its representative offices in the US have received nearly 1,000 registrations for home return and have forwarded them to domestic authorities for processing.

The US has not required foreign citizens or students to leave the US compulsorily.
