Vietnam records 1,232 cases of COVID-19 on May 31

(VOVWORLD) -The Ministry of Health said Vietnam on Wednesday recorded 1,232 new COVID-19 cases, nearly double the previous day. Since the onset of the epidemic, Vietnam’s caseload has reached 11,612,608, ranking 13 out of 231 countries and territories.

During the day, 241 patients were announced recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 10,638,168 cases.

The death toll from COVID-19 in Vietnam so far stood at 43,206, ranking 26 out of 231 countries and territories.

Vietnam has to date administered more than 266.4 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
