Vietnam records no new coronavirus cases
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has gone 98 straight days with no new community transmission of the coronavirus, said the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on Thursday.

268 imported cases have been quarantined upon arrival in Vietnam. 365 patients, 89.5% of the total, have recovered from COVID-19, and so far there have been no deaths.
According to worldometers.info, as of Thursday morning, nearly 15.4 million people had contracted COVID-19 worldwide, and more than 629,000 have died. About 1% of infected individuals are in critical condition.
The US leads the world in the number of COVID-19 infections and fatalities, followed by Brazil and India.
