Vietnam records two imported COVID-19 cases on November 28

(VOVWORLD) - Two Vietnamese people returning from aboard were confirmed as the latest coronavirus patients in the country on Sunday, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

With the new cases, the total number of infections in Vietnam now stands at 1,343. 

The latest patients, both Vietnamese, entered Vietnam from Japan and have been quarantined upon arrival.

1,179 patients in Vietnam have been given the all-clear from coronavirus and 35 have died.
