Vietnam Red Cross launches Charity Bazar
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Red Cross Society launched a Charity Bazar program in Hanoi on Tuesday in response to this year’s Month for Humanitarian Activities countrywide.

The Society and all its branches plan to provide 100,000 relief aid packages worth 430,000 USD that will contain vouchers redeemable for daily necessities to help people who have lost their incomes because of the pandemic.
The beneficiaries will be freelancers, poor, sick or disabled persons, people over 65 years old, and single women.

Nguyen Thi Xuan Thu, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, said: “The Red Cross Society will implement the Charity Bazar program in multiple places with a focus on connecting food supplies with places to eat.”
