(VOVworld) – Cooperation between Vietnam’s Red Cross Society and its Singaporean counterpart has been strengthened over the years.

Doan Van Thai, Vice President of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, made the remark on the sidelines of the 11^th Annual Southeast Asia Red Cross and Red Crescent leadership meeting, held early this week in Singapore. He added that the Singaporean Red Cross Society was one of the first national Red Cross societies to support Vietnam in natural disasters and catastrophes, and is currently an active partner of Vietnam’s Cow Bank project. Thai said that both sides have organized many youth exchanges and sent young Singaporeans to work in Vietnam.
