Vietnam reports 15 more community cases of COVID-19, all in Hai Duong
(VOVWORLD) -A total of 15 community cases of COVID-19 were recorded over the past 12 hours as of 6 p.m. on Friday, all of which were detected in the northern province of Hai Duong, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

14 of the 15 new cases were confirmed positive to COVID-19 while they have been in quarantine.
Vietnam's tally of COVID-19 infections has risen to 2,362, including 770 locally-transmitted cases since January 27. 1,627 patients have been declared cured, the number of deaths remains 35.
Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Truong Son said on Thursday the COVID-19 hotbed in Hai Duong is now under control, but attention should be paid to the outbreaks in Cam Giang district and Hai Duong city.
He urged Hai Duong authorities to continue using smart phone apps to trace COVID-19 contacts. He said Hai Duong needs to enforce social distancing in quarantine areas and in factories that have resumed operation.
The Hai Duong-based Poyun Electronics Company is the epicenter of the latest COVID-19 wave in Vietnam with more than 300 confirmed cases since last month.
