Vietnam reports 3 more imported cases of COVID-19

(VOVWORLD) -3 more imported cases COVID-19 were reported in Vietnam Friday afternoon, after nearly 2 days of having no new cases.

The newly-detected patients are now quarantined in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

To date, the total number of COVID-19 patients in Vietnam has been 1,049, of whom 691 cases are domestic infections and the remainders are imported.

551 cases of community infections have been reported since the COVID-19 reoccurred in Da Nang city on July 25. Vietnam has cured 786 patients, 35 have died.
