(VOVWORLD) - 4 staff members of Ho Chi Minh City-based Tan Son Nhat Airport were confirmed to contract the SARS-CoV-2 virus on Monday morning.
Currently the 4 patients are being treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.
Vietnam has so far reported a total of 2,005 COVID-19 patients, according to National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
One day earlier, the Subcommittee for Treatment reported that 4 more COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospital, taking the total recoveries to 1,472. The number of deaths related to the disease remained at 35.
However, a COVID-19 patient in the central city of Da Nang city was earlier reported to be in critical condition while there were 4 other seriously-ill COVID-19 patients in Hanoi and Quang Ninh.
